TreeWear x The Naked Soul

"Every Ganesh Chaturthi, we all go on a pledge to keep the environment clean. To help the eco system. And to maintain the natural balance of this universe. What I have to say is, why not every day of the year?

Welcome back, y’all. This post was actually originally supposed to go up a really long time ago. However due to my erratic travel plans and procrastination levels, I’ve managed to push it till today, where I’ve finally gotten myself to update the same.

The company I’m talking about today, is TreeWear. Initiated by brothers Mishal and Mikail Pardiwala, TreeWear is about creating a balance in our planet’s environment. For trees that are being cut down, TreeWear aims to create awareness, plant brand new trees & make you look awesome.

At TreeWear, they carefully design contemporary clothing with three things in mind: Your comfort and enjoyment, raising awareness about working with the planet to improve our environment, and planting trees.

There are a multitude of reasons for planting trees some of which include air purification, prevention of soil erosion and an increase in bio-diversity. Essentially, they have chosen to act ‘responsibly’ towards the current situation of our planet’s habitat by planting more trees for every garment purchased.

TreeWear works with organizations creating positive change in our environment. It’s simple, for every garment bought, a tree gets planted. And they’re not just concerned about making eco-friendly garments, but doing it in an eco-friendly way. Using locally-sourced materials, certified low-impact AZO-free dyes, minimal treating and recycled packaging, they’ve tried to minimise the footprint of each of their garments – from farm to us.

Give these pictures a look, which were taken at Syn Asian Grill & Bar, at Taj Deccan!

Also keep in mind that TreeWear will be launching a wide range of lifestyle products, which will serve the same purpose of saving the plant in style.
